It’s that time again when stores are filling their shelves with Christmas wares. Lists are being written, both by children and adults alike. Some of us are in denial that Christmas is only weeks away. While others have already started crossing off the days in excitement.
I am crossing off the days. Not so much in excitement for Christmas. But more so for the summer holiday we indulge in straight after Christmas. I have visions of long walks along the beach and hot carefree summer nights dancing in my head. While my two little boys have visions of presents, Christmas concerts and Christmas parties to have fun at dancing in theirs.
My boys keep the spirit of Christmas alive in this house. The excitement, the way their faces light up, the endless conversations all about Christmas remind me over and over again how special this time of year is for them.
One of the best ways to kick off the Christmas season and the Christmas spirit is at Santa’s Magical Kingdom. We went for the first time last year and absolutely cannot wait to go again.
